If you registered a flash memory product on your Western Digital Support account prior to September 25, 2024, we created a Sandisk Support account under the same email address associated with your Western Digital account. The password for your Sandisk account is the same as your Western Digital account and can be reset anytime.
If you registered a product but did not complete the setup of your account, click ‘Forgot Password’ on the Support sign in screen, and enter the email address associated with your registered product.
Any registered flash memory products and associated customer support cases will be present in your Sandisk Support account. Any registered HDD and platform products and associated customer support cases will be present in your Western Digital Support account. Please note, any changes made to your Western Digital Support account after September 25, 2024, will not be reflected on your Sandisk Support account. No, the accounts are separate as they are tied to two separate companies. Any profile changes made on each respective account will not be reflected on the other account. You will have one set of credentials to sign in to Western Digital Support and another for Sandisk Support.
All warranty claims for HDDs and platform products from Western Digital, WD, WD_BLACK, Sandisk Professional and G-Technology, should be submitted through your Western Digital Support account. After signing in, select your registered product and ‘Request Warranty Replacement’. If you have not registered your product yet, select ‘Register a New Product.’
All warranty claims for flash products such as SSDs, memory cards, and USB flash drives from Western Digital, WD, WD_BLACK, Sandisk, and Sandisk Professional, should be submitted through Sandisk Support according to Sandisk’s instructions.
