Register as a Business Customer

A business account is for business customers (“Business Customers”) who intend to (i) use and consume Western Digital products within their own professional or business activity, and/or (ii) resell Western Digital products within the EU+UK, if approved by Western Digital.

  • Business Customer is responsible for collecting, reporting and paying to local authorities all taxes and levies (including copyright levies) applicable in the territory of resale of Western Digital products.
  • If a Business Customer is in breach of these terms, Western Digital reserves the right to terminate Business customer status.


By applying for a business account, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

How to apply for a Business account:

  1. Create an account westerndigital.com/en-gb/store/login
  2. Using the email address that you used to register, email your request to create a business account to ecomVATregistration@wdc.com, providing the following information:
    • Business Name
    • Business Address
    • Nature of your business
    • VAT registration ID
    • Contact name, phone number and email address
  3. Please allow 5-7 working days for verification
  4. Once verified, you will receive an email confirmation from ecomVATregistration@wdc.com informing you of your approval
  5. You can then enter orders as business account
